The Government of Chhattisgarh is set to host the next edition of Chhattisgarh Investor Connect in Bastar on September 11, 2025. Led by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, the initiative aims to attract fresh investments, boost employment, and empower local communities under the Chhattisgarh Industrial Development Policy 2024–30.
The Investor Connect programme has already been successfully organized in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Raipur, and internationally in Tokyo, Osaka, and Seoul, securing investment commitments worth ₹6.65 lakh crore since November 2024. The upcoming Bastar edition marks the state government’s efforts to extend these benefits to one of Chhattisgarh’s most dynamic regions, while preserving its tribal heritage and cultural identity.
The Industrial Development Policy 2024–30 offers tailored incentives for projects above ₹1000 crore or those creating over 1000 jobs. Priority sectors include pharmaceuticals, agro and food processing, textiles, IT, advanced electronics, aerospace and defense, and global capability centers. Tourism has been granted industry status with subsidies of up to 45 percent in Bastar, covering hotels, eco-tourism, wellness centers, adventure sports, and sports facilities.
Special Incentives for Bastar’s Growth
Since 88 percent of Bastar’s blocks fall under Group 3, investors are entitled to maximum policy benefits. The policy also ensures inclusion with an additional 10 percent subsidy for SC/ST entrepreneurs and another 10 percent for families affected by Naxalism. Establishments hiring surrendered Naxals will receive a 40 percent salary subsidy for five years, up to ₹5 lakh annually. Steel-sector units in Bastar will also receive royalty reimbursement for up to 15 years.

Over 200 investors, industry leaders, and local entrepreneurs are expected to participate in the Bastar Investor Connect, where several high-value MoUs are anticipated to be signed.
