21-Day Anti-Naxal Operation Marks Major Victory
The operation, carried out over 21 continuous days, stands as one of the largest recent successes against Naxal insurgents. The Karegutta hills, a known stronghold of Maoist activity, were systematically cleared by the joint efforts of elite anti-Naxal units, significantly weakening the insurgents’ grip in the region.
This high-impact operation reflects the Centre’s zero-tolerance policy towards Left-wing extremism and the increasing effectiveness of coordinated security strategies in India’s Red Corridor.

Amit Shah’s hospital visit not only expressed solidarity with the injured forces but also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ending Naxal violence and protecting those on the frontlines. His words and presence served as a morale booster and a symbol of gratitude from the nation.
The Centre continues to provide modern weaponry, intelligence, and logistical support to combat Naxalism, and this operation marks another milestone in the drive to restore peace in affected regions.
