American pop star Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce are reportedly gearing up for what is expected to be one of the most high-profile celebrity weddings in the United States. Preparations have reportedly begun at Madison Square Garden, where multiple wedding-related events are expected to take place over the coming days.
According to reports, a rehearsal dinner is scheduled for Thursday, followed by the main wedding celebration on July 3. The preparations have generated significant excitement among fans, although the couple has not publicly confirmed details of the event.
Reports suggest the wedding will feature a fairytale-inspired theme, with a castle-like structure being assembled inside Madison Square Garden. According to TMZ, crews have been seen unloading oversized scenic props outside the venue, including pieces marked “Garden Party Scene 1” and others bearing the initials “GP.”
The elaborate decorations have fuelled speculation that the ceremony will feature a grand fantasy-inspired setting consistent with the couple’s reported wedding plans.

Guests reportedly asked to sign confidentiality agreements
Several media reports claim invited guests have been required to sign electronic Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) as part of efforts to maintain the couple’s privacy throughout the celebrations.
In addition, invitations have reportedly been individually watermarked to reduce the possibility of leaks or unauthorised sharing ahead of the event.
National Guard presence sparks online speculation
Speculation surrounding security arrangements intensified after videos circulated online showing members of the National Guard near Madison Square Garden in the days leading up to the reported wedding festivities.
According to TMZ, a large number of National Guard personnel were seen in the area while nearby streets were reportedly closed during preparations. However, a National Guard spokesperson clarified that the deployment was unrelated to the wedding.
The spokesperson said approximately 1,000 National Guard members operate across New York City on a daily basis and are routinely assigned to locations including Penn Station and Grand Central Terminal, adding that the presence near the venue was not connected to the reported wedding celebrations.
Wedding budget estimated in multi-million-dollar range
Although neither Swift nor Kelce has disclosed the cost of the celebrations, luxury wedding planners cited by CNN Business estimate the event could cost between $15 million and $20 million.
The projected budget is based on reports of an elaborate venue transformation and an expected guest list of nearly 1,000 attendees.
