Watch: Viral video shows principal of Agra school assaulting teacher for being late

A few weeks after a headmistress at a school in Uttar Pradesh’s Agra bit a teacher who had seen her get a facial, the principal of a different institution was seen on a video, this time thrashing a teacher who had supposedly arrived late.

On social media, a video of the incident has now gone viral. In addition to being seen on camera abusing teacher Gunjan Choudhary, the principal of a pre-secondary school in Seegana, Agra, also charged her with attempting to rip her garments during the fight.

In an attempt to free herself, she was spotted grasping the teacher by her kurta. Her driver, who initially kept them apart, also misbehaved and got into a little argument with the teacher.

There was a background voice that said, “This will be filmed. Madam is being rude. Does this befit you?”. The teacher’s colleague stated on tape that she was hurt during the fight.

Towards the end of what appeared to be school hours, there was another incident in which the two women called each other “besharam aurat (shameless women)” and accused each other of arriving late to class.

During their argument, the principal of the Agra school and the teacher also used abusive language, which was inappropriate. At the time of the dispute, the instructor was overheard stating, “Maar ke dikhade agar dum hain toh. Kya kar lega tu aur tera driver (beat me if you have guts. What will you and your driver do)”.

The principal answered while her driver urged her to get out, “Kisiki dadagiri nahi chalegi yaha“. Later, the injured instructor was the subject of a police report lodged by the principal.
