BJP’s Counterattack on AAP’s Governance
Amit Shah didn’t hold back when addressing the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and its leader Arvind Kejriwal. He questioned the effectiveness of Kejriwal’s promises, particularly the long-delayed cleaning of the Yamuna River. Shah reminded the public of Kejriwal’s previous pledge to transform the Yamuna into a river similar to London’s Thames within seven years—a promise that remains unfulfilled. Shah mocked Kejriwal’s unkept promises, asserting that the BJP would clean the river in just three years.

The AAP, led by Kejriwal, has dominated the Delhi Assembly with landslide victories in both 2015 and 2020, winning 67 and 62 seats, respectively.
