Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was shown black flags by Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BYJM) workers during the Voter Adhikar Yatra in Bihar’s Darbhanga.
According to widely shared visuals, BYJM workers confronted Rahul Gandhi over the alleged derogatory remarks made against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother at a Mahagathbandhan event in Darbhanga. Some protestors attempted to climb onto the Congress leader’s vehicle.
The video also showed the Leader of Opposition gesturing towards the protestors to come closer, later offering candies to them.
Rahul Gandhi raises ‘Vote chori’ charge in Arrah rally
Rahul Gandhi also addressed a public rally in Bihar’s Arrah, where he attacked the BJP over alleged electoral malpractice. He raised slogans of “Vote chor, gaddi chhodd.”
Opposing the special intensive revision (SIR) of electoral rolls underway in Bihar, Rahul claimed it was an “attack on the Constitution and the democratic system of the country.”

He further alleged, “Voting is the right of Dalits, minorities and women, but the Narendra Modi government steals votes to win polls.” He added that the Voter Adhikar Yatra would grow into “a country-wide movement against the stealing of votes.”
The Congress leader accused the NDA government of “stealing votes in Maharashtra and other parts of the country,” vowing that his party would not allow the BJP and the Election Commission to steal “even a single vote” in Bihar.
BJP-Congress workers clash in Patna
Tensions escalated further in Patna when BJP and Congress workers clashed after a purported video surfaced showing a person using a Hindi expletive directed at PM Modi during the Darbhanga event.
The accused, identified as Mohammad Rizvi alias Raza, was arrested from Darbhanga’s Singhwara locality.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah reacted strongly, saying, “Rahul Gandhi should apologise for abuses hurled at the prime minister, his late mother.”
