Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday reiterated that India is not afraid of nuclear threats, as he hailed the success of Operation Sindoor, carried out in retaliation to the Pahalgam terror attack.
Addressing a gathering in Madhya Pradesh’s Dhar on his 75th birthday, the Prime Minister said, “This is new India. It is not scared of anyone. The Indian forces can enter houses to bring down enemies. New India is not afraid of nuclear threats.”

He noted that terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed’s acknowledgment of heavy losses during Operation Sindoor on its terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir had “exposed” Islamabad’s role in sponsoring terrorism.
“We obliterated terror launch pads during Operation Sindoor. The Jaish terrorists exposed Pakistan,” he said.
His remarks came in response to Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir’s recent nuclear war warning and days after senior JeM member Masood Ilyas Kashmiri admitted that outfit chief Maulana Masood Azhar’s family suffered losses in Bahawalpur during Operation Sindoor.

The PM MITRA scheme aims to establish textile manufacturing hubs in Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, and Maharashtra with integrated infrastructure and advanced facilities.
The Prime Minister also launched the ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar’ and ‘Rashtriya Poshan Maah’ campaigns, focusing on women’s health, adolescent anaemia, mental health, gender equity, and active lifestyles.
“Crores of mothers and sisters in India have been blessing me. The country’s largest integrated textile park in Dhar will provide new energy to industry and fair value to farmers’ produce,” PM Modi said.
Marking his second birthday visit to Madhya Pradesh after 2022, Modi also recalled Hyderabad Liberation Day. “On this day in 1948, Sardar Patel’s steely willpower was seen when our army liberated Hyderabad and restored India’s pride,” he said.
