On yesterdays match between MI VS CSK Wankhede saw vintage MS dhoni or “Thala” as his fans calls him , hit back to back sixes off Mumbai captain Hardik Pandya.
On yesterdays match MS Dhoni only got the chance to face few balls like the previous IPL matches. Yesterday, Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya took the decision to bowl the final over. He bowled 2wides and hit for a boundary before claiming Daryl Mitchell’s wicket. With merely just four balls left, Dhoni stepped into the Wankhede stadium, as we know where MSD steps in, that stadium becomes his home ground, as if everyone irrespective of which team they are supporting was waiting for his entry. The whole crowd in the stadium can’t keep their calm and erupted in joy as MSD hits a massive six on the first ball.
After the first six the score was 186 and only three balls were left before the first innings ends and fans were expecting some more massive shots from “Thala” after the first ball and “Thala” never fails to impress their fans. MSD hits another six on the second ball and sends the ball out of the park proved that his vintage persona and skills has not faded out yet.
But this not the end of the story as there were two more balls left. Unlike the other two length balls, the third ball was a full toss and MS Dhoni hits another six and the hat-trik sixes helped the team to cross the double hundreds benchmark.
On the second innings Mumbai Indians scored 186 and Chennai won the match by 20 runs in the end. Fans took to social media to express their happiness after the match . “He is so dangerous in the last overs, he is a monster” wrote one user on X , another user wrote “We watch cricket for MS Dhoni.”
