Comedian Kunal Kamra, who recently landed in a controversy over his alleged remarks targeting Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde, has requested BookMyshow to either reconsider its latest move to delist him from the platform, or provide him access to his audience data related to his events so he could “continue living his life with dignity”.
This comes two days after the platform decided to delist Kamra and remove all the content related to him from it, due to his recent alleged remarks against Maharashtra Deputy CM and Shiv Sena Supremo Eknath Shinde.
In his recent post on X targeting the platform the comedian said, “What I’m requesting is simple: please ensure that you hand over the contact information of the audiences you’ve collected from my solo shows so that I can continue living my life with dignity and work towards a fair livelihood”. He also added in his statement, which he posted, that if the platform chooses to delist him, the least he deserves from the platform is to provide him with his audience’s data which the platform had collected.
Dear @bookmyshow – I still don’t know if I have your platform or no.
Below is humble view –
To the audiences I’m not a fan of boycotts or down rating a private business…

Kamra said that by requiring artists to list their shows exclusively on BookMyShow, the platform has effectively restricted his access to audience data from his performances between 2017 and 2025.
