Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan made a striking debut at the Met Gala 2025, and among the many who were mesmerized by his look was none other than Khloe Kardashian. The American reality star took to Snapchat to praise SRK’s Sabyasachi-designed ensemble, referring to him as “King Khan” and applauding how his appearance reflected the theme of the prestigious fashion event.
Khloe shared a series of photos of SRK in his black sherwani-inspired long coat, paired with high-waist trousers and layers of stunning diamond and pearl necklaces, including a standout ‘K’ initial necklace. She captioned one image, “King Khan”, and cheekily added, “And of course I’m a fan of the K necklace .”
Khloe expressed her admiration for the cultural significance of his look, writing, “He looked amazing, and it’s so great to see how the talented designers incorporate elements of their own culture and fashion from around the world with the theme of the event.” In another post, she noted, “His look by Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee incorporated design elements of Indian menswear.”

Kardashian also shared a personal connection, recalling that she first learned about Shah Rukh Khan during her visit to India last year with her sister Kim Kardashian for the Ambani-Merchant wedding in Mumbai. “I loved seeing King Khan at The Met. He’s the first male Bollywood actor to ever attend,” she noted.
SRK, who turns 60 this November, humbly admitted after the event that the Met Gala was not his “space”, and he felt nervous about attending. He credited his children’s excitement for motivating him to step out onto the blue floral carpet, saying he agreed to attend for them. In a heartfelt post, he also thanked Sabyasachi and his team for their support in crafting his memorable look.
The actor’s ensemble was completed with a long black cane adorned with a Bengal tiger head, making him one of the most talked-about appearances of the night. His debut not only turned heads globally but also became a moment of cultural pride for many fans across India and beyond.
