Rural women associated with JSLPS-linked Sakhi Mandals delivered an exceptionally powerful presence at IITF 2025, held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from 14 to 27 November 2025.
The Jharkhand government and JSLPS aim to empower Sakhi Mandal women to become self-reliant and successful entrepreneurs. Their increasing participation in the rural economy reflects strong progress in development and livelihood empowerment.
At the 44th India International Trade Fair, Jharkhand’s rural women showcased and sold a wide range of handcrafted products under the Palash and Adiva brands.

Adiva Jewellery Sees Highest Demand in Delhi
Delhi visitors showed a special preference for Adiva jewellery, resulting in sales exceeding ₹14.84 lakh.

Among food items, ragi and sesame laddoos prepared by women of the ‘Kolebira Farmer Producer Company’ in Simdega received high appreciation for their taste and quality, with strong sales throughout the event. Similarly, natural beauty products by Meenu Rakhit from Jamshedpur, Tussar silk products from Godda district and Dokra art from Dumka were also widely admired.
Sakhi Mandal Women Achieve Sales of Over ₹30 Lakh at IITF
The national platform enabled rural women artisans to present their skills, traditions and products to consumers across the country. During the fair, Jharkhand’s women entrepreneurs achieved total sales of ₹30.72 lakh, reflecting the rising demand and quality of their products.
Through skill training, market linkages and entrepreneurship development, JSLPS under the Rural Development Department continues to empower rural women. As a result of this ongoing initiative, 9.82 lakh rural women have emerged as ‘Lakhpati Didis’, giving new direction and momentum to the rural economy.
