Late on Thursday, terrorists launched an attack on an Army vehicle in the Botapather area of North Kashmir’s Gulmarg, resulting in injuries to at least five soldiers, according to sources. Multiple Incidents of Violence in Jammu and Kashmir
Earlier on Thursday, a labourer was shot and injured in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ganderbal district. The victim, identified as Pritam Singh, hailing from Uttar Pradesh, was targeted in what appears to be the second such attack in the region within 72 hours.
Just three days ago, six construction workers and a doctor were killed after terrorists attacked a housing camp for labourers involved in the construction of a tunnel. These incidents highlight the increasing volatility and persistent threats in the area.

Following the deadly attack on the construction workers, authorities carried out raids across several districts of Jammu and Kashmir, leading to the dismantling of a newly-formed terror group known as Tehreek Labaik Ya Muslim. This swift action was aimed at curbing the rising tide of violence orchestrated by the group in the region.
