The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the complete schedule of the ongoing TATA Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL) on Monday.
After initially announcing the schedule for the first two weeks, consisting of 21 matches, on February 22, 2024, the BCCI has now released the remaining IPL fixtures, considering the polling dates and venues for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections across the nation.
In the second phase of matches, the Delhi Capitals have decided to play all their remaining five home games at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, following their decision to host their first two home matches in Visakhapatnam.
Meanwhile, Punjab Kings, who kicked off their season at the PCA New International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, will conclude their home matches in Dharamsala. The picturesque stadium will witness two matches on May 5th and 9th against Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, respectively.

Rajasthan Royals have also chosen a secondary venue in Guwahati and will play their final two home games in Assam. They will first face Punjab Kings on May 15th and then take on Kolkata Knight Riders on May 19th, marking the conclusion of the league stage of the 17th season of IPL.
After a day’s break on May 20th, all eyes will turn to Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium as it hosts an electrifying Qualifier 1 clash between two top-ranked sides on Tuesday, May 21st, followed by the thrilling IPL Eliminator on Wednesday, May 22nd.
Following the format observed in the season opener, Qualifier 2 and the grand final will be held in Chennai, the home ground of reigning champions Chennai Super Kings. Qualifier 2, scheduled between the losing team of Qualifier 1 and the winner of the Eliminator, will take place on Friday, May 24th, followed by the summit clash on Sunday, May 26th.
