The town of Chamba in Himachal Pradesh experienced a 5.3 magnitude earthquake this evening, causing strong tremors across the region. Reports indicate that the tremors were also felt in Manali, which is located over 350 km away from Chamba.

The earthquake struck Chamba at 9:34 pm local time, with its epicenter recorded at a depth of 10 km, according to the National Center for Seismology. The sudden seismic activity likely caused concern among residents and prompted authorities to assess any potential damage or safety risks in the affected areas.
