Delhi chief minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday condemned the attack against her at her Civil Lines camp office, terming it a “cowardly act” and asserting that it would never deter her from her duty to serve the people.
The incident occurred during a ‘Jan Sunwai’ programme at the CM’s camp office, where Gupta was attacked. Hours later, she addressed the public, assuring them of her recovery.
“Such attacks can never shake my determination or weaken my resolve to serve the people. I will now be among you with even greater energy and dedication,” the chief minister wrote in a post on X, adding that she was “feeling better” and that the public hearings would continue.
