Bengaluru Vlogger Murder: In a chilling case that has shocked Bengaluru, police revealed that 29-year-old vlogger Maya Gogoi was murdered by her boyfriend, Aarav Hanoy, who spent two days with her lifeless body in a service apartment before fleeing.

The incident came to light on Tuesday within the jurisdiction of the Indiranagar police station. Aarav is currently on the run, and police teams are actively searching for him in Kerala and other locations.

Details of Bengaluru Vlogger Murder

Maya, originally from Assam and residing in Bengaluru’s HSR Layout with her sister, informed her family that she was attending consecutive office parties on Friday and Saturday. However, she had checked into a service apartment on Saturday with Aarav, whom she had been dating for six months after meeting on social media.

Police investigations suggest Aarav premeditated the murder, as he brought a knife and purchased a nylon rope online before checking into the apartment.

Timeline: The couple checked into the apartment on November 23. It is believed the murder took place on Sunday at midnight. Aarav was last seen on CCTV leaving the apartment at 8:19 AM on Tuesday, after spending two days in the room with Maya’s corpse.

After leaving the service apartment, Aarav took a taxi to Bengaluru’s Majestic area and switched off his phone. Authorities have obtained CCTV footage from the service apartment and identified the cab he used.

Police are also probing whether Aarav intended to dismember Maya’s body, given his prolonged stay with the corpse and the items he purchased beforehand.
