Popular internet creator Atheist Krishna, known for his witty memes and heartwarming Photoshop edits, has passed away due to complications arising from pneumonia. Krishna’s work had earned admiration from celebrities and leaders alike, including Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
News of his passing was shared by user @nainaverse, who posted a screenshot of a WhatsApp chat with Krishna’s brother confirming that he died at 4:30 am on July 23. Krishna had reportedly been unwell and needed surgery, but his condition worsened after he contracted pneumonia.
“Woke up to the terrible news of Atheist_Krishna passing away. He was one of the kindest people I met on this platform. On 10th July, he told me he was unwell and needed to be operated on. He caught pneumonia. At that time, he said, ‘It would be a miracle if I survive this.’ I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Just yesterday, I couldn’t wait and pinged him… Gone too soon…,” @nainaverse posted on X, along with a screenshot of their exchange.

Krishna’s content gained massive traction online, blending humour with emotion in a unique way. Beyond jokes, he was known for restoring old, worn-out photographs, often bringing joy to families and individuals.

His work once reached Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as revealed by Akshay Kumar in a video message.
