A 2,500-page chargesheet has been filed against YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra after three months of investigation, with police sources saying they have found “concrete evidence” that she was spying for Pakistan, the NDTV reported.
Jyoti Malhotra, also known as Jyoti Rani, who ran the travel YouTube channel Travel With Jo, was arrested from Haryana’s Hisar in May. Investigators said she had been in contact with Ehsan-ur-Rahim, alias Danish, from the Pakistan High Commission and had travelled to Pakistan at least twice.
Following the Pahalgam attack and Operation Sindoor, Rahim was declared persona non grata and expelled from India within 24 hours for espionage and leaking sensitive information on Indian Army movements.
Chargesheet Mentions ISI Connections and Foreign Visits
According to the chargesheet, Malhotra had been spying for a long time and maintained links with ISI agents Shakir, Hasan Ali and Nasir Dhillon. Police documents state she travelled to Pakistan on April 17 last year and returned to India on May 15. Just 25 days later, on June 10, she went to China, where she stayed until July before moving to Nepal.

“During the investigation, we have found concrete evidence that the YouTuber was spying for Pakistan,” said a source.
The chargesheet also mentions that during one of her visits to Pakistan via the Kartarpur Corridor, Malhotra met the chief minister of Pakistan Punjab and Maryam Nawaz Sharif, daughter of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, and interviewed her.
A Haryana officer earlier said the 33-year-old was allegedly in contact with an officer of the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi during the four-day conflict between India and Pakistan after the Pahalgam terror attack. However, the officer noted that she did not have direct access to classified military information.
Asked about further details, sources said the investigation into those links is ongoing.
