UGC NET 2024 Marking Scheme
- Marks per Question: Each question carried 2 marks.
- No Negative Marking: No penalty for incorrect answers.
- Unanswered Questions: No marks awarded for questions left unanswered, un-attempted, or marked for review.
Special Conditions
Ambiguous or Incorrect Questions: If a question is found to have multiple correct answers or is ambiguous, credit will only be given to candidates who attempted and selected one of the correct answers.
Dropped Questions: For questions deemed incorrect due to human or technical error, two marks will be awarded to candidates who attempted those questions, even if their answer was wrong.
