Sangareddy (Telangana): Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and dedicated to the nation a series of development projects valued at over Rs 6,800 crores on Tuesday. These projects span various crucial sectors, including roadways, railways, petroleum, aviation, and natural gas.
In his address to the audience, the Prime Minister underscored the ongoing commitment of the Central government towards fostering Telangana’s development, marking the second day of his visit to the state.
He reflected on Monday’s activities, where he laid foundation stones and inaugurated development projects totaling approximately Rs 56,000 crores in Adilabad, focusing on energy, climate, and infrastructure sectors.

Today, he emphasized the unveiling and laying of foundation stones for projects valued at around Rs 7,000 crores, encompassing highways, railways, airways, and petroleum. He reiterated his belief in the mantra of “rashtra vikas through vikas of the states,” emphasizing the government’s ideology, and assured continued support to Telangana’s progress.

Highlighting the inauguration of the Civil Aviation Research Organization (CARO) center at Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad, the Prime Minister hailed it as a significant contribution to Telangana’s aviation sector. He described the center as a pioneering initiative that would elevate Telangana’s status in the field and provide a platform for research and development for aviation startups across the country.
Emphasizing the importance of modern infrastructure in advancing Viksit Bharat (Developed India), PM Modi mentioned the substantial allocation of Rs 11 lakh crore in the current year’s Budget. He highlighted specific projects such as the Kandi to Ramsanpalle section of NH-161 and Miryalaguda to Kodad Section of NH-167, aimed at enhancing transport connectivity between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Referring to Telangana as the gateway to South India, the Prime Minister outlined the government’s efforts to improve rail connectivity and services in the state, including the electrification and doubling of rail lines. He announced the doubling and electrification of the Sanathnagar – Moula Ali route, along with the inauguration of six new station buildings and the launch of MMTS Train Service from Ghatkesar to Lingampalli via Moula Ali and Sanathnagar, facilitating improved connectivity within Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
Inaugurating the Indian Oil Paradip-Hyderabad Product Pipeline, the Prime Minister emphasized its significance in transporting petroleum products in a cost-effective and environmentally sustainable manner, thereby contributing to Viksit Bharat through Viksit Telangana.
The event was attended by dignitaries including Governor of Telangana, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, and Union Minister, G Kishan Reddy, among others.
