State BJP president writes to Lt Governor for opening temples and religious places

New Delhi: The state BJP president Shri Adesh Gupta in a letter to Lt Governor Shri Anil Baijal has urged him to open the temples and religious places again.

In his letter, he said with corona cases coming down now in the recent past, on the DDMA directions weekly curfew has been lifted, schools, gyms, spas, swimming pool, cinema halls, government and private offices, marriage halls, restaurant have all been opened but temples and religious places have still not got permission to open.

Adesh Gupta wrote in the letter this is causing inconvenience to those who go there regularly for worshipping. He therefore urged the Lt Governor that keeping religious sentiments of people in mind these religious places and temples should be fully opened again.
