SDMC Mayor inspects underdeveloped park in Tajpur Pahari on Monday

New Delhi: Mayor of South Delhi Municipal Corporation Mukesh Suryan on Monday inspected an under-developed historical park in Tajpur Pahari area. Mayor took stock of ongoing works asking officials to open it for the public at the earliest by completing the works. Mayor said that the park is being developed by leveling of mine’s land in Badarpur’s Tajpur Pahari. A total of 10-acre land is being developed as a park area. As far as facilities inside the park are concerned, swings for kids, open gym, gazebo, jogging track, etc will be made available.

Leader of Opposition, Delhi Legislative Assembly, Ramveer Singh Bidhuri said that SDMC strives to provide better facilities to the citizens and through the construction of Park, the biggest problem of this area will be resolved as people used to dump garbage on this land. He said that Residents living in unauthorized colonies in this area will be benefitted once it will be thrown open.
