Superstar Rajinikanth was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Chennai late Monday night for a heart-related procedure scheduled for Tuesday. Hospital sources have confirmed that the 76-year-old actor is in stable condition. However, no official statement has been released yet from the hospital or Rajinikanth’s family.
The legendary actor, who has been actively involved in two upcoming films, has kept a busy schedule. His next release, Vettaiyan, directed by Gnanavel Raja, is set to hit the screens on October 10. Additionally, he has been working on Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Rajinikanth had just returned to Chennai a few days ago after completing work on his films.

Rajinikanth’s health has been a subject of concern for his fans in the past. A decade ago, Rajinikanth underwent a kidney transplant in Singapore. Recently, the superstar opted out of his much-anticipated political debut, citing health reasons.
