Update report of redevelopment & beautification work of Hanuman Mandir Vatika: NDMC VC

New Delhi: With aim to enhance the beautification of New Delhi area and to provide the facilities to the thousands of the visitors & devotees of Prachin Hanuman Mandir-Connaught Place, New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) will start soon the second phase of 100 percent Mechanical Sweeping at Hanuman Mandir Vatika.
Vice Chairman of NDMC Sh. Satish Upadhyay said once the beautification and redevelopment work of Hanuman Mandir Vatika be completed then the house-keeping work i.e.100 percent Mechanical Sweeping with modern mechanical machines will start in the second phase. He said that the project will be continuously under monitoring with the help of stakeholders and NDMC’s senior officers. He informed that the project will be completed soon in stipulated time bound manner by the dedicated project team.
He informed that tender for the same will be floated within 3-4 months whenever the tender procedure will complete. Upadhyay said in the first phase we will be doing the 100 % mechanical sweeping work in the Connaught Place area.
While giving the update report of the beautification and redevelopment work, He said that work of Hanuman Mandir Vatika is already going on full swing. The footpath flooring of granite is almost in the last stage of finishing whereas the work of laying Tack-tile which is fully able for blind persons is also in progress.
Upadhyay also informed that the beautification and redevelopment work of Hanuman Mandir Vatika consist all over footpath having granite flooring, the old tiles replaced with granite, Jaisalmer marble cladding, old blocked drainage system replaced with new drainage system and it will cover with granite stone, modernized and renovated shoe house provision for devotees, low MS Railing being provide around trees to protect plants, 24×7 drinking water provision also for the visitors and old lighting replaced etc.
