A 20-year-old woman was found brutally stabbed to death near the Uran railway station in Navi Mumbai, according to police reports on Saturday. The victim, Yashashree Shinde, was a resident of Uran and worked in Belapur, approximately 25 km away.
Her body, discovered in the bushes near the station, bore multiple injury marks and stab wounds, indicating a brutal murder.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Navi Mumbai) Vivek Pansare stated that the police received a call around 2 am reporting the discovery of Shinde’s body. Initial investigations suggest that the murder was the result of a love affair gone wrong.
Shinde’s boyfriend, who had also gone missing with her, is the primary suspect and is currently being sought by the police. A case of murder has been registered, and five police teams have been formed to trace the suspect.

Authorities are continuing their investigation and search for the suspect in an effort to bring him to justice and provide closure to the victim’s family.
The Navi Mumbai murder comes barely a few days after a chilling murder of a woman at a PG in Bengaluru was caught on CCTV camera. While the accused has been caught, police said the killer, a man, is the boyfriend of another woman who lived n the PG.

According to further details, the man and his girlfriend used to often fight and the victim, being a friend of the girl, would ask her to come out of the relationship. However, when the man got to know about it, he hatched a plan to kill the woman.
The CCTV footage revealed that the man gained access to the PG by posing as a delivery agent. In fact, he managed to pass through the gates which contained biometric by posing as a delivery agent.
A different camera showed the man brutally stabbing the woman to death.
