In a shocking incident that has sent ripples of fear across the city, the brutal murder of a 24-year-old woman in a paying guest (PG) facility in Bengaluru’s Koramangala was captured on CCTV. The police are currently on the lookout for the unidentified assailant.
Kriti Kumari, hailing from Bihar, was viciously stabbed to death by an unknown man who managed to slip into the building late Tuesday night. The disturbing CCTV footage released by the police shows the man knocking on Kumari’s door. Though the door itself is not visible in the footage, it is apparent that she opened it, as the man is seen entering her room.

Just 20 seconds later, the footage reveals the horrifying scene of Kumari being dragged into the corridor and pinned against the opposite wall. The assailant then takes out a knife and swings towards her neck. Despite Kumari’s attempts to push him away, he overpowers her and stabs her multiple times in the neck before fleeing the scene.
The video then shows a grievously injured Kumari sitting on the floor, blood pooling around her. The shocking sight brought other women in the PG rushing out of their rooms. One of them is seen immediately dialing on her cell phone, presumably to call the police.
