“Kalki 2898 AD” is set in a dystopian world where Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan portray characters that join forces to combat the darkness engulfing their world. The event highlighted Prabhas’s presence, with the makers sharing photos of the actor on social media, captioning them, “Rebel Star Prabhas at Bujji x Bhairava event.”

Directed by Nag Ashwin, who gained acclaim for the National Award-winning biographical drama “Mahanati” in 2018, “Kalki 2898 AD” marks the first collaboration between Deepika Padukone and Prabhas. Deepika and Amitabh Bachchan, however, have previously worked together in the 2015 film “Piku” and are set to co-star again in the Hindi remake of the Hollywood film “The Intern,” originally featuring Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro.
