Indian Army Destroys Pakistan Military Post Along LoC |In a powerful show of military strength, the Indian Army on Friday released video footage of a Pakistani military post being destroyed in retaliatory strikes along the Line of Control (LoC). This is the first visual confirmation of India’s precision strikes under Operation Sindoor, aimed at countering Pakistan’s recent aerial and artillery aggression.
The Indian Army also confirmed that it repulsed multiple overnight drone and missile attacks, destroying over 50 Pakistani swarm drones during a large-scale air defence operation in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab.

Army’s Precision Response and Drone Neutralisation
In an official statement, the Indian Army said it gave a “befitting reply” to ceasefire violations and cross-border aggression from the Pakistani military. The counter-drone operation was conducted in:
- Udhampur, Samba, Jammu, Akhnoor, Nagrota (J&K)
- Pathankot (Punjab)
During the engagement, the Indian military deployed L-70 guns, Zu-23mm cannons, Schilka systems, and advanced counter-UAS platforms, showcasing its robust air defence capabilities.

A dramatic video from Nagrota sector shows Pakistani drones being intercepted and destroyed mid-air, lighting up the night sky amid sirens and explosions reported from Akhnoor, Samba, Baramulla, and Kupwara.
Targeted Cities and Pakistan’s Failed Offensive
On Thursday afternoon, the Defence Ministry reported that Pakistani forces attempted to strike military installations in 15 Indian cities, including:
- Awantipura, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Adampur, Chandigarh, Bathinda
- Kapurthala, Nal, Phalodi, Uttarlai (Rajasthan), and Bhuj (Gujarat)
However, all missile and drone threats were intercepted, with no casualties or major damage. India responded with kamikaze drones that successfully neutralised a Pakistani air defence system in Lahore, leaving the city vulnerable to future strikes.
Visual of Pakistani Military Post Demolition Sends Message
The newly released footage of the destroyed Pakistani post is part of India’s escalating information warfare and psychological deterrence strategy, aimed at signaling the cost of Pakistan’s aggression.
The cross-border strikes follow India’s precision targeting of nine terror camps across Pakistan and PoK, carried out in retaliation for the April 22 Pahalgam attack, where 26 Indian civilians were killed by Pakistan-backed terrorists.

Amid growing fears of a larger conflict, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh addressed the nation and emphasized India’s preparedness and resolve. “India has always acted with restraint and responsibility,” Singh said. “But if anyone takes advantage of this restraint, they will face quality action. We are fully prepared to protect our sovereignty without limits.”
Singh reiterated India’s preference for dialogue over conflict, but affirmed that national security will never be compromised.
Situation on the Ground
- Schools remain shut in Jammu & Kashmir and Punjab
- Blackouts continue in key border districts
- Indian forces are conducting round-the-clock aerial surveillance
- Civil aviation security has been heightened nationwide
The Indian Army reiterated via X (formerly Twitter): “The Indian Army remains committed to safeguarding the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the nation. All nefarious designs will be responded to with force.”
With border tensions nearing a boiling point, India’s swift military responses and strategic restraint appear designed to deter further escalation while asserting its dominant position along the LoC.
