New Delhi: The State BJP President Shri Adesh Gupta has said after 70 years of independence if somebody has really cared for the poor it is the Modi government at the Centre.

While 55 crore people have already got benefit under the Ayushman Bharat yojna it is regretting the Kejriwal government didn’t even deem it fit to implement it in Delhi or else during covid pandemic waves many poor and others wouldn’t have ended up paying hefty bills worth lacs of rupees in the hospitals. While inaugurating a NaMo sewa Kendra in Madipur colony here today, he said Kejriwal government didn’t issue a single new ration card in past seven years. Rather over 16 lac applications are pending for ration cards.

He said the Modi government is providing a gas stove and cylinder besides Rs two lac insurance cover each to jhuggi jhompri dwellers under ujjawala yojna as also up to Rs 10000 loan under swanidhi to rehri patriwallahs. Not only this, there are several other such welfare schemes like matratva vandana yojna, janni suraksha yojna which is benefiting all. He said Dr Bhimrao’s name was earlier used only for garnering votes but it is Modi government which has in real sense done the job of giving him due respect. Congress never wanted any great leader to be praised whether it was Sardar Patel, Subhash Chandra Bose or anyone else, he added.

Gupta said the BJP and Modi have always endeavoured to serve the people. Whether it is central government’s welfare policies or party workers efforts the single motto has been to serve the people with humility and hence this sewa Kendra is being opened here, he added. It’s due to hard work of jhuggi dwellers that Delhi has become what it is now.” Unhone isse sajaya aur sanwara hai,” he said. Present at the occasion were spokesperson Shri Mohan lal Gihara, secretary and councilor Smt Sunita Kangra, secretary Shri Neeraj Tiwari, district president Shri Sachin Bhasin, district incharge Shri Satendra Singh among others.
