An FIR has been registered against the influencer, identified as Syed Abdahu Kashaf, the police said.
Hyderabad: Moments after BJP’s Hyderabad MLA T Raja Singh was arrested, the police held a self-proclaimed social and civil rights activist for endorsing the ‘sar tan se juda (beheading)’ slogan against Singh for his Prophet Muhammad remarks.
An FIR has been registered against the influencer, identified as Syed Abdahu Kashaf, the police said. Kashaf, on Monday, had posted a video raising the ‘sar tan se juda’ slogans. In the video, he also urged the people to continue their protests against Singh outside the South Zone DCP’s office in Hyderabad.
Speaking to the media, Kashaf had said, “In this protest, I myself used the statement (slogan). I did not have any intention of doing something unconstitutional. My intention was that the person who abuses or uses ill language against the Prophet, would suffer the punishment ‘sar tan se juda’. That is my religious belief.”

Meanwhile, barely two days after he was granted bail, Hyderabad BJP MLA T Raja Singh was once again arrested on Thursday, hours after he released a new video on “communal atmosphere”, despite the court asking him not to upload any other video.
In the new video, Singh is heard saying, “Police in Telangana are puppets in the hands of Asaduddin Owaisi…Owaisi’s supporters have been given a free hand to throw stones…no FIR, no arrest.” Singh also accused Owaisi’s supporters of targeting places of worship. The MLA was seemingly hinting at the massive protests to demand his arrest after he had allegedly used derogatory comments against Prophet Muhammad.
