Bittu Bajrangi, who was previously arrested in connection with the violence in Haryana’s Nuh last year, has once again made headlines after being caught on camera assaulting a man with a stick.
In the viral video, members of his cow vigilante group are seen restraining the victim while Bittu Bajrangi is seen hitting him repeatedly. Shockingly, a policeman standing nearby appears to remain passive throughout the incident.

The police have confirmed that the footage, which circulated widely on April 1, depicts an incident involving Shamu, a resident of Faridabad’s Sarurpur.
Allegations surfaced that Shamu had lured two girls into his home under false pretenses, sparking outrage among locals who suspected his intentions. Subsequently, members of Bajrangi’s cow vigilante group, known as the Goraksha Bajrang Force, intervened and transported Shamu to Bajrangi’s residence in Faridabad’s Sanjay Enclave.
The distressing video captures the moment when Bittu Bajrangi, wielding a stick, strikes Shamu as he pleads for mercy. Notably, despite being within arm’s reach, the policeman present at the scene fails to intervene. It’s reported that prior to Bajrangi’s assault, the mother of one of the girls had also struck Shamu with the stick.
The officer in charge of Saran Police Station acknowledged the viral video and assured that appropriate action would be taken once a complaint is lodged by the victim.
Should the victim fail to come forward, authorities intend to pursue the case against Bittu Bajrangi using the video evidence and social media to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.
The incident reignites concerns about communal tensions in Haryana, particularly in the wake of the violence that erupted during a procession organized by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad last July.
The clashes spread to various areas, resulting in five fatalities, numerous injuries, and the destruction of property, including a mosque. The resurgence of violence underscores the urgent need for authorities to address underlying tensions and ensure the safety and security of all communities.
