“Whatever liquor shops were opened in residential areas in violation of laws and rules, near educational institutes or religious places or in main markets the BJP has got them closed down with support of social organisations and party workers,” Gupta said.

“Since independence of the country, Delhi is the first state where liquor shops have been opened at the places where they are not supposed to open.  There are 123 wards in the city where state government, in league with liquor mafia and clear violation of laws, opened these shops,” he added.

Gupta also said that a group of women told him that they had got an illegal liquor shop in New Kondli closed. BJP will not allow Kejriwal’s bid to turn Delhi into a liquor city. BJP is always stands with youth and women. In order to fill his own pockets and in league with liquor mafia, Kejriwal has even reduced number of dry days and doesn’t mind opening liquor joints even in the residential areas.
