New Delhi: Shailesh Kumar Pathak, Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety, Northern Circle inspected the newly electrified Sonipat- Gohana section (36 RKM and 37.5 TKM). Inspection was followed by Current Collection trial and after being satisfied with the works CCRS has given authorisation for the above work.
With this work Sonipat-Gohana-Jind section of Delhi Division is completely electrified and through train operations in this section with electric traction. Further, after completion of this work Delhi Division becomes the first division of Northern Railway to be percent electrified.
