The Kill teaser introduces Lakshya’s character, Amrit, aboard the Rajdhani Express alongside Tanya Maniktala’s character, when a sudden attack by armed assailants throws them into chaos.
Raghav Juyal is also glimpsed as the menacing antagonist, setting the stage for Amrit’s relentless struggle to save Tulika (portrayed by Tanya) from an unwanted arranged marriage. As the train transforms into a battleground, Amrit, a skilled commando, engages in a fierce battle against the bandits to rescue Tulika.
The movie, and the subsequent Kill teaser, has been generating significant buzz since its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. The teaser incorporates glowing reviews from various sources, highlighting the anticipation surrounding the film’s release.
Producer Karan Johar shared the teaser on social media, announcing the film’s release date of July 5, 2024, accompanied by a cautionary note about its violent content.
Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat and produced by Dharma Productions and Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment, Kill teaser promises relentless action and gripping martial arts sequences.
Described as a “bloody battleground of brutal close-quarters combat” by TIFF, the film pits a pair of commandos against a formidable army of bandits aboard a passenger train bound for New Delhi.
The teaser’s debut coincides with the impending release of another action-packed film, “Monkey Man,” starring Dev Patel.
“Kill” is slated for theatrical release in the United States by Lionsgate, marking Lakshya Lalwani’s long-awaited debut after the cancellation of the Karan-produced film “Dostana 2.”
