Mohali: The Cyber Crime police station in Mohali has reportedly registered an FIR against the national secretary of BJP’s youth wing, Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga, and an unknown person for allegedly making provocative statements, promoting enmity and criminal intimidation.
Bagga has been critical of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over his remarks on Kashmiri pandits.
A case has been registered under Sections 153-A, 506, 505, 505(2) of the IPC at the Cyber Crime on April 1 on the complaint of a resident of Mohali, Dr Sunny Singh.
Reacting on the issue, Bagga said, “Kejriwal ji are you satisfied now. I want to say not one file 100 FIRs, use the newly-designated power as much as you can. But the BJP will not let you live peace fully till you do not apologise for your remarks against the exodus of Kashmiri pandits. Our protest will go on till you don’t apologise.”
“AAP made fun of the biggest massacre of Kashmiri pandits and said that this story is a lie. In a similar mistake, Congress in 2007 had said that there is no existence of lord Ram and today they are searching for their own existence. That is why I want to tell Arvind Kejriwal don’t be so arrogant,” Bagga added.
According to the FIR, Bagga had earlier this week in an interview to several news channels, a clip of which was further circulated on social media, allegedly delivered a provocative speech in order to “outrage the religious feelings” as well as created an “imminent threat to Arvind Kejriwal’s life”.
“Bagga along with other members of the BJP, have been manufacturing an absolutely false, malicious and inflammatory narrative against Arvind Kejriwal in a well calculated and pre-planned systematic manner to execute their vested motives and in furtherance of their common intention in order to outrage the religious feelings of people as well as to imminent threat to the life of Arvind Kejriwal and his party members,” added the FIR.
