The United States showcased its military strength on Friday when a B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber, flanked by fighter jets, thundered across the sky above Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump during their high-stakes meeting on the Ukraine conflict at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson.
A viral 22-second video captured the moment as the two leaders walked down a red carpet toward a waiting stage when the B-2 roared overhead. Putin looked upward as the bomber flew past, underscoring the display of American air power.
Symbol of US Military Might
The B-2 Stealth Bomber, valued at around $2.1 billion each, remains the most expensive aircraft ever built. Manufactured by Northrop Grumman, the bomber entered limited production in the late 1980s, with only 21 units made after the fall of the Soviet Union curtailed initial acquisition plans.
Capable of penetrating advanced air defenses, the B-2 has a strike range of over 6,000 nautical miles (11,112 km) without refueling, allowing it to carry out global missions. With aerial refueling, its reach is virtually unlimited. The aircraft can deliver over 40,000 pounds (18,144 kg) of payload, including conventional and nuclear weapons such as 16 B83 bombs or GBU-57A/B Massive Ordnance Penetrators.

In June, US forces used six bunker-buster bombs from the B-2 fleet on Iran’s Fordow nuclear research site, showcasing the bomber’s destructive precision.
Stealth Capabilities and Strategic Significance
The B-2’s stealth design and radar-absorbing materials reduce its radar cross-section to that of a small bird, making it nearly undetectable. Operated by a two-pilot crew, the bomber combines automation with advanced avionics to maximize efficiency and survivability.
Say whatever you want about President Trump.
But one things for sure; this is the biggest flex, AND I MEAN THE BIGGEST FLEX in the history of FLEXING. No questions asked. No comparison.

The dramatic flyover came as Presidents Trump and Putin held a three-hour meeting on the Ukraine conflict. The war, which began with Moscow’s invasion of Kyiv in February 2022, has become one of Europe’s deadliest in decades.

At the joint press conference, President Trump remarked, “There is no deal until there is a deal,” signaling that no resolution had been reached. President Putin called the discussions “thorough and useful” and reiterated that Russia was “sincerely interested in putting an end” to the conflict but emphasized that Moscow’s “legitimate concerns” must be addressed.
