Neha Singh Rathore Sedition case | Bhojpuri singer Neha Singh Rathore has been booked under sedition and 10 other charges for her controversial remarks targeting the Modi government following the Pahalgam terrorist attack that claimed 26 civilian lives. The FIR was lodged at Lucknow’s Hazratganj police station after a video posted by Neha went viral.
Neha Singh Rathore Faces FIR for Social Media Post
The FIR states that Neha Singh Rathore’s post on X (formerly Twitter) incites religious and caste-based crimes and adversely affects national integrity. Her comments linked the recent Pahalgam terror attack to a failure of intelligence and security under the current government.
Neha’s video was reposted by a Pakistani journalists’ group, and her statements are reportedly being used by Pakistani media to criticise India, according to the FIR.
The complaint further alleged that her remarks “undermine the honour and respect” of India’s poet community and the nation at large.

She further alleged that PM Modi would seek votes by invoking the Pahalgam attack victims, “Just like after the Pulwama attack.”
