Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Supriya Sahu, well-known for sharing captivating wildlife videos, has delighted social media once again with a heartwarming clip from the Anamalai Tiger Reserve in Tamil Nadu. The 15-second video, captured by wildlife photographer Dhanu Paran, features a serene moment with a family of elephants.

In the video, the elephant family is seen sleeping peacefully in the jungle, with the young calf surrounded by attentive family members, providing what Sahu humorously refers to as “Z Class security” to protect the baby.

The young elephant can be observed checking the presence of other family members for reassurance, a behaviour reminiscent of our own family dynamics.

Sharing the video on social media, Supriya Sahu expressed admiration for the elephant family’s bond and drew parallels with human families. Shortly after she posted the clip, it quickly went viral, prompting an outpouring of appreciation and wonder from netizens.

“This is worth fighting for. This is worth preserving,” remarked one user in response to the heartwarming scene.

Another user commented, “Wonderful and rare sight to see such beautiful things. Amazing. Thanks for showing us.”

Many others expressed similar sentiments, with one user stating, “Made my day,” and another praising the forest team for their efforts in capturing such incredible moments.

The enchanting video has not only captured the hearts of viewers but also sparked discussions about wildlife conservation and the importance of preserving such precious moments for future generations.

The shared clip serves as a reminder of the remarkable bond within elephant families and underscores the need to protect and appreciate the natural world around us.

In another video from the wild, tigress Riddhi was seen playing with her cubs in the Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan. Riddhi was seen keeping an eye on the cubs while they were having fun. The national park officials had released the brief video on April 25.
