Bollywood actor Salman Khan has reportedly received another threat message tied to a song allegedly linking his name to jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The threat was directed to Mumbai’s traffic control room at around midnight on Thursday, heightening security concerns for Khan, who has been the target of multiple threats over recent months.
According to police sources, the message mentioned repercussions for the songwriter who referenced both Salman Khan and Lawrence Bishnoi in a song. The threat stated, “The songwriter’s condition will be such that he will no longer be able to write songs. If Salman Khan has the courage, he should save them.”
This unsettling message underscores the ongoing tension between Salman Khan and individuals linked to Lawrence Bishnoi, who holds longstanding grievances against the actor, dating back to the blackbuck poaching case of 1998.
Recent Arrest of Bishnoi Follower Linked to Salman Khan Threats
Authorities recently detained Bhikha Ram, also known as Vikram, a 32-year-old man from Jalore, Rajasthan, in Karnataka’s Haveri. Ram, who openly admires Lawrence Bishnoi as his “idol,” is now in the custody of Maharashtra’s Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS). During his interrogation, Bhikha Ram allegedly revealed plans to fund a temple dedicated to the Bishnoi community with a ransom demand of Rs 5 crore.

Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan Face High-Profile Threats
This latest threat to Salman Khan follows a broader pattern of intimidations aimed at Bollywood celebrities. Mumbai Police are also investigating an extortion case involving a Rs 50 lakh threat against actor Shah Rukh Khan. The caller, traced to a phone registered under Raipur-based lawyer Faizan Khan, has left authorities questioning Khan, who claims his phone was stolen on November 2 and that he is a victim of conspiracy.
Faizan Khan, who has raised objections over deer hunting references in Bollywood due to the significance of deer protection in the Bishnoi community, was questioned by Mumbai Police on Thursday. “I hail from Rajasthan, and protecting deer is a value held deeply by my friends in the Bishnoi community,” Faizan stated, adding that he condemned any dialogue that offended this belief.
Rising Tensions and Police Action
Mumbai Police have intensified security around Salman Khan and are probing potential links between these threats and ongoing conflicts involving the Bishnoi community. While Khan’s management team and legal advisors are yet to comment, law enforcement officials are monitoring the situation closely as they investigate the motivations behind the latest messages.
