Earlier, dozens of Ukrainian soldiers were reportedly killed as Russian forces bombed a Ukrainian military barracks in the southern city of Mykolaiv. A Ukrainian serviceman on the ground reportedly told that least 50 bodies have been recovered, but they do not know how many others are in the rubble.
As per the media reports, there were no less than 200 soldiers were sleeping in the barracks. Another soldier has feared that the bombing could have killed around 100 people but authorities have not yet released an official death count.
Meanwhile, Russian military have said it is using hypersonic missiles in Ukraine for the first time and has destroyed an underground missile depot. The use of a hypersonic missile also shows that Russia is desperate to win the war despite the world reminding it of its illegal invasion and pressing sanctions against it.
