The AAP has become a refuge for criminals as 80 per cent of the AAP Ministers and 38 MLAs face criminal charges for various offences, said Anil Kumar.
New Delhi: Delhi Congress on Wednesday said that with the district and sessions court ordering framing of charges against Aam Aadmi Party MLAs Amanatullah Khan and Prakash Jarwal for assaulting the Delhi Chief Secretary in the residence of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on 19th February, 2018 midnight, will they would be expelled from the party, or Kejriwal would protect them, as he had been protecting Minister Satyender Jain, who is in the custody of the Enforcement Directorate, for money laundering and hawala transactions?
Delhi Congress president Anil Kumar demanded that Kejriwal remove both Amanatullah Khan and Prakash Jarwal from the party immediately, now that the court has found them guilty in the assault case.
Kumar said that the Delhi Chief Secretary was assaulted in the presence of Arvind Kejriwal, his deputy Manish Sisodia and 11 other AAP MLAs, but Amanatullah Khan and Jarwal were arrested the next morning and sent to judicial custody as the CCTV cameras were disconnected and evidence against the others were destroyed, so they were let off, but Delhi Police had questioned Kejriwal for three hours in May, 2018, in connection with the case.
He said that the Aam Aadmi Party has become a refuge for criminals as 80 per cent of the AAP Ministers and 38 MLAs face criminal charges for various offences. He said that the AAP MLAs and Ministers were indulging in their criminal activities with the blessings of Kejriwal, and therefore, they continue to call the shots in the party. He said that Prakash Jarwal was responsible for the suicide of a water tanker contractor in Mehrauli as he could not bear with Jarwal’s frequent demands for bribe, and chose to end his life, but the MLA has received the full protection of Kejriwal, and roams free.
