Shindhu beat China’s Wang ZY 21-9, 11-21, 21-15 in the three set fight. Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his wishes to Sindhu for her stunning victory. Modi tweeted, “I congratulate @Pvsindhu1 on winning her first ever Singapore Open title.
