The environment on Earth is being degraded due to indiscriminate development work, indiscriminate cutting of forests, over-exploitation of water, and its pollution. Climate change is affecting the entire world, heat is increasing excessively, lack of rainfall has become normal.

Forests have also been over-exploited and in recent decades, the mountains have turned green, which has dealt a deep blow to the greenery and environmental balance of the plains.

Due to all this, we the people of the earth have to face many kinds of difficulties. The most prominent among these is the increasing heat and water crisis.

The underground water level in our nation has gone down significantly and the problem of drinking water also becomes serious during the summer days. We can take some measures by which we can save our lives.

In order to save the flat land, we have to save our mountains and forests in Santhal. It is very important to conserve them and also we have to start a Sadan campaign to plant trees.

The traditional ponds should be used for water conservation. The ponds which have been encroached on, those encroachments should be removed strictly so that water conservation can be done as much as possible in the form of water conservation and storage or there is also the slogan that water from the field is in the field, water from the village is in the village i.e. rain.

We should try to increase the ground water level by retaining as much water as possible, for this we also need to do water harvesting on a large scale at the government level so that our ground water can be recharged and people can get drinking water and use it for agriculture.

In order to avoid water crisis, we should also reduce the pollution of rivers and ponds. Rivers and ponds should remain clean and water sources should remain constant.

It is also important to have awareness among people on a large scale for water conservation. People should realise that it is important to save every drop, hence the underground water should not be over-exploited.

Our agricultural pattern should also be made such that crops should be grown in such a way that minimum water is used. Modern methods of irrigation should be adopted like drip irrigation. Irrigation sprinklers should be used so that maximum crops can be grown in less water.

With all these efforts, we can not only save the environment of our plain areas but also bring Santhal back to India and prosperity to the animals and humans living here.
