New Delhi: A Nepalese plane carrying 22 passengers, including four Indian nationals, lost contact with the ground control, authorities said. The aircraft, a Tara Air’s 9 NAET twin-engine plane, was flying from Pokhra to Jomsom and lost contact around 9:50 am on Sunday.

The aircraft was also ferrying Japanese passengers. “The aircraft was seen over the sky of Jomsom in Mustang district and then had diverted to Mount Dhaulagiri after which it hadn’t come into contact,” chief district officer Netra Prasad Sharma told the media.
