The PM said that following the mantra of sabka sath, sabka vikas, sabka vishwas aur sabka prayas, Centre has ensured development by giving priority to the welfare of the poor.
New Delhi: Inaugurating the KD Parvadiya Multispecialty Hospital in Atkot village of Gujarat’s Rajkot district on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said during his eight years long tenure as prime minister, he has not done anything wrong that would ‘hang head in shame’. He said that nothing wrong was done that would shame citizens of the country.
Modi, on competing of eight years his government in Centre, thanked people of Gujarat for teaching him values. He said that he made sincere and honest effort swhile serving as prime minister of the country
to make an India dreamt of by Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. “Bapu’s dream was to empower every Indian, deprived people, Dalit, mother and citizens. He also dreamt of cleanliness and healthy life for the people,” PM Modi said.
“The BJP-led NDA government at the Center has completed 8 years of service to the nation. During this some evidence of our commitment to ensure the dignity of the poor. In the biggest crisis of 100 years, even in this time of corona pandemic, the country has continuously experienced how the government is working to empower the poor,” said PM Modi.
The PM said that following the mantra of sabka sath, sabka vikas, sabka vishwas aur sabka prayas, Centre has ensured development by giving priority to the welfare of the poor. “We have constructed pucca houses for three crore families, have been freed from the compulsion of defecating in the open, nine crores women saved from the smoke, electricity connections to more than 2.5 crore poor families, piped water to six crore households, medical treatment to 50 crore Indian,” the prime minister adeed.
