A school located in the Jogeshwari-Oshiwara area of Mumbai recently received a threatening email indicating the presence of a bomb. In response to the email, local police and a bomb squad team promptly arrived at the school to initiate investigations at the site.
The email specifically mentioned that the bomb was planted by a group known as the ‘Afzal Gang,’ prompting authorities to work on verifying the credibility of the threat.
According to a statement from Mumbai Police quoted by a news agency, an immediate security response was prompted at the school, with law enforcement and explosive detection personnel conducting a thorough investigation of the premises. As of now, no suspicious items have been discovered at the school; however, the authorities are continuing their search.
