Mumbai saw an unexpected shift in the weather on Monday when the season’s first rain brought with them a tremendous dust storm. The city, known for its annual deluge, experienced an unusual phenomenon as rain clouds rolled in accompanied by swirling dust, catching many off guard.

The sky filled with dark clouds, indicating that rain was about to fall. But what happened was a funny meme-fest, a chaotic roadway, and a spectacular dust storm.

Memes and jokes were used by locals to convey their shock as a response to the abundance of images and videos that captured the unusual phenomenon on social media.

Others used well-known meme templates to express their opinions about the dust storm, while some said that Mumbai would be the ideal location for Dune 3 filming.
