Watch: London bus sports Kerala tourism ads, video goes viral

Kerala is frequently referred to as “God’s Own Country” because of its abundance of natural resources, breathtaking scenery, beautiful beaches, and mouthwatering cuisine. Kerala boasts an abundance of natural features, including mangroves, forests, hills, waterfalls, lakes, tea plantations, and wildlife sanctuaries.

It has earned its title as the pride of “Incredible India.” Many tourists from all over the world come to this stunning state, which is well-known for its holistic health and Ayurvedic treatments, every year.

The Kerala government has now developed visually striking international advertising campaigns to boost tourism. An Instagram user recently noticed colorful advertising promoting Kerala travel on a bus in London.

“Kerala advertised bus in London,” Ryan Shiju wrote in the caption. A double-decker bus is seen cruising through the city in the video, with stunning views of Alappuzha’s houseboat and Kerala’s gorgeous backwaters. The hashtag “#TravelForGood” is displayed on one side of the bus.

Internet users praised the Kerala Tourism department for its creative marketing strategy and expressed their love for the video. One user wrote, ”Wow, the whole of Alappuzha is in the vehicle.” Another commented, ”People recognize India through Kerala, proud of it”.

A third said, ”Brilliant placements, hats off to Kerala tourism marketing team.” A fourth added, ”Wow, the whole of Alappuzha is in the vehicle.”

Additionally, Tourism Minister P A Mohamed Riyas posted a video of the London bus branding and wrote, ”Kerala tourism’s new campaign method. Our Alappuzha and houseboat in London buses. New campaign ideas that can be implemented in foreign countries will be provided in the comment box.”

In 2018, a campaign such as this one was carried out throughout the city of London with five large double-decker buses featuring images from the state.
