In a shocking twist to the investigation into the death of Friends actor Matthew Perry, federal authorities have charged five individuals in connection with his fatal ketamine overdose. Among those charged is Jasveen Sangha, a 41-year-old dual British and American citizen, who has earned the notorious nickname “the Ketamine Queen of Los Angeles.”
According to investigators, Sangha supplied the lethal dose of ketamine that ultimately led to Perry’s tragic death.
Jasveen Sangha had been on the radar of federal authorities due to her involvement in the distribution of dangerous narcotics. Her North Hollywood residence was described as a “drug-selling emporium” by investigators, where she allegedly stored, packaged, and distributed a variety of illegal substances, including methamphetamine, cocaine, and prescription drugs like Xanax.
The federal indictment against her reveals a well-organized drug operation dating back to at least June 2019.
The Role of Jasveen Sangha in Perry’s Death
The Matthew Perry case took a significant turn when Jasveen Sangha was arrested in March for selling methamphetamine in an unrelated case. During a raid on her home, federal agents seized 79 bottles of liquid ketamine and nearly 2,000 meth pills, exposing the scale of her illicit activities. However, it was her connection to the death of Matthew Perry that has drawn the most attention.

According to court documents, Jasveen Sangha provided Eric Fleming, a broker, with 50 vials of ketamine in two separate deals in the weeks leading up to Perry’s death. Investigators allege that Matthew Perry, who had long struggled with addiction, first sampled the drug on October 13.
In the following days, Fleming delivered two large batches of ketamine to Perry’s home, on October 14 and October 24. Tragically, it was this ketamine that led to the actor’s death on October 28.
Adding a disturbing detail, the indictment reveals that Jasveen Sangha even included “ketamine lollipops” as a bonus due to the size of Perry’s order. These lollipops, often used for recreational purposes due to their hallucinogenic effects, underscore the dangerous nature of the drug deals orchestrated by Jasveen Sangha.
The Fallout and Public Reaction
The charges against Jasveen Sangha have sent shockwaves through both the public and the entertainment industry. Matthew Perry’s death, already a source of immense grief for his fans and colleagues, has now become a stark reminder of the dangers of illicit drug use and the dark underbelly of Hollywood’s drug culture.
As the legal proceedings move forward, the focus will be on holding those responsible for Perry’s death accountable. The case has also reignited discussions around the need for stronger measures to combat the illegal drug trade and provide better support for individuals struggling with addiction.
