‘The problem with leaders of Aam Aadmi Party is that they have an anarchic mindset and do not believe in following any constitutional procedure‘, Praveen Shankar Kapoor said.
New Delhi: Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor on Saturday said that the people of Delhi are shocked and surprised to see the way the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders have been reacting to the issue of the Centre’s intervention to improve the working of the three MCDs. He also said that the problem with AAP leaders is that they have an anarchic mindset and do not believe in following any constitutional procedure.
Kapoor said, “It’s sad that AAP leader Durgesh Pathak has said that the Centre has prepared a file on corruption of Delhi’s Election Commissioner S K Srivastav which means the AAP leaders believes that Srivastav is a tainted official. If Pathak believes that Election Commissioner is corrupt then he should tell why Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government appointed a tainted person as State Election Commissioner.”
“During last seven years there has been a poor experience of how due to political bias Delhi government has curtailed municipal funds and disturbed municipal administration. AAP leaders should note no body is running away from election of municipal corporations, the Centre is trying unify the corporation to create an economically and administratively viable a civic agency. Further it will be ensured that civic body’s dependence on Delhi government reduces,” the BJP spokesperson said.
